Drainage and Pavement Improvement Project

Kingsley Estates is a residential subdivision in Mendota Heights, MN. Their HOA board was seeking help with paving and drainage issues on their aging private road. LRC provided a roadway redesign for the subdivision, which included the individual driveways. The primary challenge was to improve drainage along certain flat stretches of the road to minimize ice buildup in the winter – something that had become an ongoing problem and safety issue for the residents. In addition, part of the roadway was widened, and an old retaining wall was removed and replaced with a new 10’ tall interlocking block retaining wall.
